LAS VEGAS – More than 75,000 couples were married in Las Vegas in 2021 and to better cater to the iconic now-trademarked brand, the Wedding Capital of the World, County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya has launched a new website celebrating the brand and its famous history. The site showcases the variety of wedding couples, locations and venues that make Clark County the top wedding destination in the world. Weddings.Vegas provides a more easily accessible URL for information on all services within the Office of the County Clerk.
Weddings.Vegas, brought to life by Nevada-based web firm KPS3, was designed for millennials who are the largest demographic seeking wedding licenses and information. Focusing on a mobile-first, intuitive, and dynamic design, customers have multiple ways to get information. With a well-structured menu, quicklinks to popular services, and an integrated answerbot to assist with frequently asked questions, visitors will have several options to get the information they need quickly. Designed with above-industry standards to ensure Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA compliance and easily browser-translatable content, our goal was to address the needs of diverse audiences, cultures, and languages.
The site is breathtaking – as any wedding should be. Rich with spectacular, sometimes humorous photography, informative wedding related articles, upcoming events and in-the-know announcements, the site invites interaction.
“As the Wedding Capital of the World it is important that we show residents and visitors what they need to do to get married here and the many options Las Vegas provides when choosing the right spot for a ceremony,” County Clerk Lynn Goya said. “Couples don’t just come from all over the United States to get married in Las Vegas, they come from every corner of the globe, so it’s important we make every aspect of their experience a special one.”
