Iconic Las Vegas chapel wraps up yearlong 60th anniversary celebration with Facebook contest, giving couples a chance to win a “Romantic Wedding Package” at their wedding venue.

Tis’ the season to pop the question. December has become the most popular month for marriage proposals, and Chapel of the Flowers is looking to make this holiday season even merrier. Today the world-famous wedding venue announced its “Show Off Your Bling” contest, which urges couples to show off their engagement rings on the company’s Facebook page for a chance to win their popular Romantic Wedding Package.

Couples ready to say “I do” are encouraged to enter this interactive social media contest by visiting Chapel of the Flowers’ Facebook page and finding the “Show Off Your Bling” contest post. To enter this contest, couples must post a photo of their wedding ring or engagement ring in the comments section under the original contest post. Then encourage their friends and family to “Like” their ring photo. The ring photo with the most “Like” or “Love” reactions between 12/23/2020 and 1/6/2021, 4 p.m. (PST), will win the grand prize.

The lucky winner will be announced on the chapel’s Facebook on Jan. 11, 2021, and will win the “Romantic Wedding Package” ($650 value) at Chapel of the Flowers in Las Vegas, in one of their five on-site wedding locations. The all-inclusive wedding package includes a personal wedding planner, flowers, wedding photographer, limousine, and video broadcasting. Go to bit.ly/blingcontest for more contest information.

“We are excited to gift someone a wedding package with everything happening in the world,” states Donne Kerestic, CEO at Chapel of the Flowers. “Since many couples had to postpone their weddings, 2021 is predicted to be one of our busiest years yet. We are just so fortunate to be able to give away a wedding package and looking forward to celebrating love, hope, and new beginnings with the winning couple.”

This December is predicted to have more marriage proposals than last year, with around 25% of the yearly total engagements happening during Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve. Wedding planning searches have also increased due to COVID. Engaged couples now have the extra time to plan for their upcoming nuptials. With the uptick of couples getting engaged and postponements of weddings until next year, wedding vendors are hopeful that 2021 will be a successful year for couples getting married.

Wedding professionals have already started to see encouraging signs that the industry will come back better than ever. Many wedding venues see popular wedding dates, like April 3, 2021 (4-3-21), and holiday weekends getting reserved for next year at a fast rate. Chapel of the Flowers reports that it has seen an increasing amount of “micro weddings” and elopements in 2020, which proves that couples are choosing to have a small ceremony as a placeholder for a larger post-pandemic celebration.

Chapel of the Flowers is open for business and currently taking reservations for 2020, 2021, and 2022 wedding dates.
